Anton/Bauer, the worldwide standard ™ in portable power, showed the latest additions to its successful TITAN family of power products at the NAB 2002 show in Las Vegas.
The new TITAN TWIN is the smallest and lightest two position simultaneous charger ever produced by Anton/Bauer. All the charging technology and reliability of the Anton/Bauer InterActive system is built into every TITAN product. Weighing only 16.8 ounces (476 grams) and smaller than most professional batteries, TITAN TWIN will address any combination of two Anton/Bauer Gold Mount batteries simultaneously including the new DIONIC battery. Simultaneous charging addresses both batteries at the same time, versus a sequential charger which first charges one battery then the other, optimizing the time for two ready batteries.
TWIN’s lightweight high impact polycarbonate enclosure will stand up to the most rugged use. Its universal wide range mains input (90-250 VAC 50/60Hz) makes it the ideal travel or backup charger.
Another new addition is the TITAN T2 - a two position simultaneous charger which features completely independent power channels and a 70 watt DC output for camera power. Like its smaller cousin the TITAN 70, T2 can be used much like a UPS, providing camera power from mains, but if mains power is interrupted, the camera will draw immediately, and without video “glitch”, from the battery. The high power independent channels make T2 the fastest charger in the Anton/Bauer lineup capable of delivering any two Gold Mount batteries fully charged in half the time of a sequencing charger.
All TITAN series products are chemistry independent and capable of upgrade as new battery technologies are introduced. Batteries are automatically identified by the charger and addressed with a charge routine specifically designed for that battery to reliably and safely optimize battery performance and service life.
As with all Anton/Bauer products, TITAN series power products meet all applicable regulatory standards including CE and FCC requirements.
