SELECTING THE ONE “RIGHT” BATTERY

There is no single size or chemistry of battery to fit every operational situation. Lightweight and small size is typically a trade off with runtime, service life or the ability to operate on-camera lighting. Larger batteries add overall weight, yet balance the camera and lens perfectly. Some cell chemistries offer superior service life, others trade service life for performance or weight.

No one battery can optimize all these factors for all operations in all situations. The Anton/Bauer system allows the choice of all chemistries and numerous sizes to create a “toolkit” of batteries to address every operating condition – all able to mix and match on a single charger.

1 All Anton/Bauer batteries are rated in watt hours at C-rate (one hour) discharge rate. This avoids the confusion created by amp-hours or inappropriate low discharge rate which falsely inflate capacity and run-time.

2 Maximum continuous load expressed in total wattage. Optimum service life will result if normal operation does not exceed rated watt hours.
